At the #AgricExtUg2026, Dr Lilian Lihasi @afaasinfo ED highlights the need for agricultural extension to go beyond tech transfer, to include connecting farmers to ideas, partners, markets, climate info, and opportunities.
'Think of it as the system that brings it all together.

She has added “Agricultural transformation cannot happen without agricultural extension and advisory services”.

This week has shown us that to move Uganda's agri-food ecosystem forward, extension must be at the center of every policy and every investment.
