The 5th Africa Wide Agricultural Extension week 2021 is a continental event that brings together different participants from across Africa and globally to deliberate on strategic issues in agricultural extension and advisory services (AEAS) in Africa.
This year, the 5th AAEW 2021 was held at Speke Resort Munyonyo Kampala, Uganda on 14th-20th November 2021. It was co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS) and the Uganda Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (UFAAS). Organized under the theme “Effective Agricultural Extension Systems for Sustainable Agripreneurship in Africa” , the week-long blended physical and virtual event attracted over 1,000 participants from 17 countries in Africa.
Extension organizations, development practitioners, researchers, Private sector organizations, universities, Farmer organizations, Media partners were part of this continental event.
