In an effort to reach the last mile, members of the Uganda Form for Agricultural Advisory services (UFAAS) Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) Technical Working Group (TWG), trained several male and female youths on climate smart agriculture. Organized in collaboration with Vibrant Generation Uganda (VGU), the training targeted youths in Sembabule District, Central Uganda. Vibrant Generation Uganda is one of the fully paid up member organizations at UFAAS.
The one-day training that took place on 13th May 2022 was attended by 23 (8F, 15M). The CSA technical working Group was represented by the Group Chair Mr Choice Agaba, member Ms Adeline Rwashana Muheebwa (also UFAAS Board Chairperson), Mr Gerald Kasiita (Lower level farmer organizations representative on the board) and Ms Scovia Ojoru the Program Assistant at UFAAS.
The training was supported by the CAADPXP4 project that is being implemented under the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS), by UFAAS in Uganda.
