The Uganda Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (UFAAS), in partnership the Africa Forum for Advisory Services (AFAAS), the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), and other Partners, are organising a National Agricultural Extension Week (UGNAEW2024).  This event will be held from 28th October-1st November 2024, at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi, under the theme “Making Extension Count for Robust, Resilient and Competitive Agri-Food Systems.” The extension week will bring together over 200 different actors and stakeholders to deliberate on AEAS issues critical to agricultural development. It will host synergetic presentations, discussions, and partners’ side events, among others. The event will be preceded by regional events to be held from 23rd September -18th October 2024 across the country.

The Uganda National Extension Week  2024 was launched on 3rd October 2024 at the Silver Springs hotel in Kampala.  The event was graced by the Director of Operation Wealth Creation Uganda, represented by the Deputy Director, Brigadier General Godfrey Muwanguzi, and the Minister of State for Agriculture, represented by Dr Patience Rwamigisa, and other partners.
