On 30th May 2022, the Uganda Forum for Agricultural Advisory services (UFAAS) signed a contract with ACTED Uganda, to provide consultancy services to assess the training needs on climate change adaptation. The activities are to be conducted in the livestock cattle corridor districts of Nakasongola and Mbarara livestock in central and Western Uganda respectively.
At the contract signing event, UFAAS was represented by the CEO Mrs Beatrice Luzobe, Board Chairperson Ms Adeline Muheebwa, Board member Mr Titus Kisauzi and, the Chair, Climate Smart Agriculture technical working group Mr Choice Agaba.
The activities in the partnership include:
- Assessment of training needs on climate change mitigation and adaptation at the community level and at local authority level
- Identification of existing and previous projects, knowledge and skills relating to Climate Change Activities
